Pet SitR — Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data Pet SitR collects, why, where it is stored, and what your rights are. Pet SitR is published by badiastudio ("we", "us").

Data we collect

Pet SitR only stores data you provide by using the app:

• Account email — used to sign in.
• Team information — the team name and its 6-character join code.
• Pet profiles you create — pet name, type, color, notes, and photos you choose to upload.
• Pet-owner contact information you enter — owner name, phone number, and address for pets you sit for.
• Visits, care schedules, blocks, and recurring rules — the schedule data you record.
• Notification preferences — on/off state and reminder lead time. Stored locally on your device only.

We do not collect device identifiers for tracking, do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and do not sell your data to anyone.

Why we collect it

All data is used solely to run the app for you and your team: showing your schedule, syncing changes with other team members, and delivering local visit reminders. Nothing else.

Where it is stored

Application data (pets, visits, teams, and photos) is stored in a Supabase project we operate on your behalf. Supabase provides the underlying Postgres database and object storage. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Photos live in a Supabase Storage bucket named pet-photos; the file URL is stored on the corresponding pet record.

Local notification preferences are stored on your device using iOS local storage (AsyncStorage).

Who can see it

• Only members of your team can read your team's pets, visits, blocks, and recurring rules. This is enforced at the database level by Row Level Security policies.
• Team members you invite via the 6-character join code become full members and can see everything shared with the team until they are removed or leave.
• Owners of a team can rename the team, remove members, and delete the team.

Your rights and choices

• Leave a team at any time from Settings → Danger zone → Leave team.
• Delete a team you own from Settings → Danger zone → Delete team. This permanently removes all pets, visits, care schedules, blocks, and recurring rules for that team.
• Delete your account and remaining data — email cshunnarah@gmail.com from the address on your account. We will delete your user record and any teams for which you are the only owner within 7 business days.
• Turn off reminders from Settings → Visit reminders in the app, or in the iPhone Settings app → Pet SitR → Notifications.

Children

Pet SitR is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your data, we will update this page and note the new date at the top. Continued use of Pet SitR after such a change means you accept the updated policy.
